Genetically is it possible that dumb parents produce smart kids,because the cells that they pass on to?

their offspring aren’t smart ,then how the hell can kids turn out to be smart.germ cells from parents hold potentialities for growth of intelligence in child,so how can dumb parents pass on smart germ cells to their children.

I don’t know whether I am right or wrong with my arguments and assumptions,if I am wrong please forgive my lack of knowledge ,I am not that well versed with science behind birth,intelligence ,genetics,i just wish to learn from people who posses more knowledge than me regarding these things and clarify certain doubts.

The short answer is yes.
Obviously, environmental factors make a difference. Genetically smart people who are not given a proper education will appear dumb. However, since you asked this question in a biology section, you will get a biological explanation: I. Q. is not inherited by a simple dominant recessive gene combination. If this were true, people would be either very smart or very dumb; this is not the case.
Intelligence is transmitted by "polygenic inheritance." That means that there are many genes involved for this trait. This is a bit of an oversimplification but is basically how it works (all the numbers here are arbitrary): Lets say mom and dad EACH have a total of 10 genes for "smartness". Dad has 3 "smart" genes and 7 "dumb" genes giving him an I.Q. of 95. Mom has 6 "smart" genes and 5 "dumb" genes and has an I.Q. of 100.
Dad contributes his 3 smart genes to little Johnny and mom contributes her 6 smart genes. Little Johnny has 9 smart genes and has an I.Q. of 125. The son is "brighter" than either parent. It could go the other way also!
It works this way for height – Children are taller or shorter than their parents ; Skin color is also inherited in this fashion.

haha, ive known that stuff for years now. i believe that this manmade global warming thing is without a doubt the biggest lie ever told to mankind. People who actually believe we are causing it/making it faster kind of make me feel sad for them. They believe everything they hear on from all these environmental groups with alternate agendas, and governement agencies collecting millions every year from their fear-mongering campaigns to get money. It sickens me that people don’t even try to look at both sides of an issue. There is no proof anything that man does is causing an increase in warming. Cause its certaintly not CO2 seeing as how temperature leads CO2 by an average of 800 or so years. All the greenhouse gases minus water vapor make up 5.5% of all greenhouse gases, really not enough to cause an increase in warming, which is actually caused by the oceans and the sun.

Too bad all the scientists who are against man made global warming get silenced by environmental groups or have their data messed with like with the IPCC and the UN.

what can I do to make a child as smart as possible?

any ideas? I heard that playing music to it even before its born will stimulate brain growth.
(and no, I dont have a pregnat GF, I’m just asking for when I get married….I like to plan ahead)

Make sure mom breastfeeds. It helps baby grow healthier and smarter.

Talk to your baby a lot after it is born. Narate what you’re doing when changing a diaper, etc. Sing to baby. Read to baby a lot and let him see you reading too.

Be an active and involved parent.

Learning can be part of every day fun. Count the stairs as you climb them. Talk about colors and shapes while you grocery shop. Play "I spy" in the store to find "the red circle" or "the blue box" etc.

Its hard to tell what the spiritually blind will worship. The religion of Science and their false prophets will remain a mega church with the relentless universe of lies coming from the 4 corners of deceit, government, academia, science, and the main stream media.

Its really hard for me to pay attention in class, and Im in college, But when I double my intake of prtien, Im able to calm adown a little, and can pay attentiong more. I also know that people use riddlen for a reverse effect, and A LOT of people have seen big results from doing this, but you want to check with your doctor first
